Our specialist team can manage every aspect of your project whether it be interior and exterior gilding and decoration, bespoke furniture, annual maintenance of a private collection or insurance claims.
Titian Studio, established in 1963 by Rodrigo’s father, Salvatore, is one of Europe’s premier restoration and conservation workshops. Our clients include multinational corporations, leading interior designers and architects, top end antique dealers as well as an enviable array of private clients.
From restoring a water-gilded 18th century mirror frame back to its original golden lustre, to carving back a missing scroll on a chair that had long been lost to daily use. Titian Studio has restored works by major historical furniture makers such as Robert Adam, George Hepplewhite, Thomas Sheraton, Gillows and Thomas Chippendale.
Our extensive knowledge of traditional and modern furniture making techniques enables us to work with many mediums and across many disciplines. We have for many years created furniture for selected clients in a multitude of mediums, finishes and historical styles. We can match an existing piece to create a pair or work from a drawing or photo or simply interpret your request through a series of meetings and samples.
Titian has worked on large scale historically important projects, such as the restoration of the gilding of the prince albert memorial, as well as slick contemporary interiors. Titian Studio can emulate and produce chinese wall paper in the chinoiserie style for interior salons or adorn walls with our specialist crackled gesso and silver leaf gilded effect.
No project is too big or too small as we offer the flexibility to work in situ, both locally and internationally or in our centrally located workshop measuring more than 4,000 square feet, where we are always happy to welcome clients who wish to visit our premises.
