Maintenance Service
Whether it be a private collection of antique furniture and collectibles in a residential home to a National Trust or English Heritage collection Titian Studio offers a "one stop" maintenance programme and ongoing assessment of collections. We will come to the house, assess the condition of each piece, and supply a photographed condition report and a method statement for potential/conservation work required and then discuss with the client a time frame for carrying out the work. This can include a variety of skills, many of which will be carried out by our in house specialists, from carving and gilding to japanning or lacquer restoration to marquetry or parquetry veneer work or pietra dura inlay. On occasion where our skills are exhausted we will bring in and oversee outworkers who carry out restoration to the same high exacting standards that Titian Studio demand.
Our charges for this service are £750 + vat per day plus travel expenses.
