About Us
In 1963 Titian Studio began trading in Notting Hill London as a decorative painting workshop for interiors as well as furniture. At the time, a friend of the family, John Fowler, of Sibyl Colefax and John Fowler, involvement and extensive knowledge of historic properties proved to be a huge influence and inspiration in steering our company towards preserving and restoring antiques. John Fowler became Titian Studio’s first client and consequently Mallett Antiques London. Many London antique dealers were to follow, as were commissions from Historic Royal Palaces, The National Trust and many private collectors. Because of our unique artistic skills and knowledge as antique furniture conservators and restorers, we soon became known to many high end interior designers and architects. There was a demand from clients for the traditional finishes to be applied to new furniture and interiors and designers wanted to offer their client a complete bespoke service. This further established us as bespoke specialist finishers, both for commercial and residential interiors as well as specialist furniture makers. We have acquired a large library of samples, including new exciting finishes to meet the changing needs of evolving trends. Titian Studio has since moved from Notting Hill to a large artists studio workshop in Shepherd’s Bush, London.
